Privacy policy

This policy explains what data we collect, why, how long we keep it, who it is shared with, and what your rights are. It applies to the voisinia.com site and the Voisinia service.

Data collected and purposes

• Free profile check: the business name and city you enter, public information from its Google profile, and your e-mail if you ask to receive the report. Purpose: to produce the report and, with your e-mail, send it to you along with no more than three follow-ups. Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in presenting the service.
• Account: name, email, password (stored encrypted, never readable) or Google sign-in. With Google, we only receive your name, your email and a Google identifier; we have no access to anything else in your Google account. Purpose: signing you in to your space. Basis: performance of the contract.
• Business and service: information about your business, photos, content, messages exchanged with the team, and your phone number if you give it to us to be called back. Purpose: providing the service and supporting you. Basis: performance of the contract.
• Access to your accounts: if you add us as a manager of your Google profile or your Facebook and Instagram pages, we use this access only to publish the content you approved and to reply to reviews. You can remove it at any time.
• Payment: processed by Stripe; we neither see nor store your card number.
• Emails: messages about your account and the service (sign-in, payment, posts to approve, reminders). Marketing reminders stop on request or through the unsubscribe link.
• Advertising measurement: no advertising measurement tool is loaded today. If we add one, it will only be with your consent in the cookie banner.

Recipients and processors

Your data is accessible to the Voisinia team and our processors: hosting (Contabo, Germany), site delivery and security (Cloudflare), payment (Stripe), Google sign-in (Google), AI writing assistance (Google, Gemini API: information about your business and the reviews to handle is sent to it to write the texts). We never sell your data.

Transfers outside the European Union

Voisinia is published by a company established in the United States, and some providers are located there. These transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework when the provider takes part in it.

Retention period

Free check data: 12 months. Account data: during the subscription, then 3 years. Account without a plan: up to 3 years after the last sign-in, or less on request. Invoices: 10 years (legal requirement).

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only, passwords are stored encrypted, and access to data is limited to the people who need it to provide the service.

Your rights

You can access your data, correct it, delete it, object to its processing, or ask for its restriction or portability by writing to [email protected]. We reply within one month. You can also file a complaint with the data protection authority of your country: the CNIL in France (cnil.fr), the CNDP in Morocco (cndp.ma).

Minors

The service is for professionals; it is not intended for minors.

We may update this policy; the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
